Young Friends Shabbat Dinner

130 Young Friends celebrated Shabbat together at Prime KO Japanese Steakhouse on May 4. Guests shared a warm and special evening, featuring a featuring a lively conversation with the Museum’s Founding Director, Dr. David Altshuler.

Young Friends Annual Hanukkah Celebration

400 guests joined the Young Friends to celebrate the festival of lights at their Annual Hanukkah Party. Attendees enjoyed a fun filled evening complete with a DJ, dancing, full buffet dinner catered by Esprit Events, gift bags, and live band. Sponsors included Manhattan Beer Distributors, Gotham Magazine, Saks Fifth Avenue, KIND Snacks, Madelaine Chocolate, smartwater, and more.

A sold out crowd of 130 Jewish professionals joined the Young Friends for their second Shabbat Dinner this year. The dinner celebrated the opening of the Museum’s newest exhibition, Emma Lazarus: Poet of Exiles. Guests enjoyed a delicious four course meal and a brief talk from Danielle Charlap, Assistant Curator of the exhibition. Check back for information on our next Shabbat Dinner in the Spring!

Over 200 young professionals joined the Young Friends as we hosted our second annual Sunset Soiree. Guests enjoyed breathtaking views from our outdoor terrace overlooking New York Harbor, sipped summer wines, and explored our groundbreaking special exhibitions.
